This is an experience on why not to spend almost a fifth of a million dollars developing a game for a restricted market. The fact of the matter is he signed the contract. HE DID. Microsoft didn't go into his house and hold a gun to his head.
he's making more money than if they didn't publish it.
good net code and changing mechanics a little bit don't really make it necessary.

I got a pro at launch (you can download demos to a memory card) I haven't paid for xbox live until this year through keen use of promotional schemes.
total cost of 360 was about $450, so I paid $500 for the 360 up to now as opposed to $500 for a gimped PS3 (which you couldn't upgrade to have the exact same functions as higher end PS3s ala xbox 360) or $600 for a PS3 that's still considered superior to any of the ones today.
you can stream off XP for free. You get windows media connect. Most new versions of vista come with it standard. If not you download it off their site.

Play online with your friends - I do, and have been since launch. My 360 was still less than a PS3 so far.
Download game demos - These are free. Period
Want wireless online - Why would I want that for gaming?

chill the crap out. It's an interview with him. I doubt you watched it (just like you ignored the other one and assumed he bashed WoW when he just said he liked EvE more), and he isn't spouting on about how his game is the best thing since sliced bread.
He's defending it sure, what developer wouldn't, but he's not being an asshole about it. We get it, you don't like the game. We don't need to hear it in every thread with a "too" or a "dyack" in the title.
